Every refractory’s output also depends on working environment. So far as Mg-Cr bricks are concerned, they are mainly used in non-ferrous metal converters and furnaces such as copper, zinc etc. and in certain areas of secondary steel production. Quality also depends on quality of raw material, which again depends on the brick's RM source and manufacturing cycle. Generally, refractory producers opt for low-cost RM and high-pure RM for critical area linings. For example, for a furnace, some areas are important where refractories corrode faster than other areas. Therefore, furnace lining is performed so that refractory lining in all zones can be relined in a single shutdown or repair void. Given your query, I will include information on the overall volume generated, not high pure or low cost.
Three types of Mg-Cr, based on the RM mixture, are Clear bonded, Re-bonded, Semi Re-bonded, or high value Re-bonded bricks (consists of single type RM).
Melting point of MgO — 2730 C, melting point of Cr2O3 — 2430 C is super heat job, but both have very low thermal shock resistance (TSR) for various reasons that limit their use. Yet mixing them gives high TSR, high strength, stronger bonding and corrosion resistance synergistically.
Mg-Cr spinel bricks have a melting point of 2130 C when solid, 1850–1950 C usually due to Fe2O3, Al2O3, SiO2 and CaO impurities. The level of SiO2 is particularly essential over other impurities, as this significantly decreases refractory levels with 1%. So, SiO2 is typically limited to below 1.5 percent, supplying refractor under load(RUL)>1700 C. With SiO2 decline, it increases exponentially, so is CCS.
It has positive PLC, a condition unlike MgO that has a negative PLC. Certain impurities include Al2O3 around 7 and Fe2O3 about 10 percent.
Growth in the building and construction drives the global rice husk ash market.
REFRACTORIES THAT WE RECYCLE:-
Steel (MgO-C, MgO, Sliding gates/nozzles, high alumina bricks/castables, etc.)
Cement (MgO-Al2O3 spinel bricks)
Glass (AZS/ZAC, Mullite, High alumina, Sillimanite, Chrome, etc.)
Aluminium (Anode baking furnace bricks, SiC bricks)
Copper (Mag-chrome bricks)
Our tundish Covering Compound is an insulating powder having good expandability in the Tundish . This Compound is used in ladles to minimize heat loss from the liquid steel.
Global Recycling is one of the topmost rice husk ash manufacturers & suppliers of India. We offer rice hull ash, rice husk ash. We are one of the most reliable and well-known manufacturers of the high-grade Heat insulation compound and ladle covering compounds too. Our products are made of high-quality raw materials. This is the reason why our products contain high insulating power, spread ability, and expandability. Products provided by us spreads quickly and easily to cover the whole surface of the steel. Rice husk has lots of utilities as a tundish covering compound.
